Food Ministry Team
Each week our Food Ministry Team provides 50+ hot meals to residents of Muir Manor, a low-income apartment complex for older adults, and to other homebound community members. We believe that feeding people is one of the best ways that we can live out our faith!
Love Unlimited Community Ministry
Every Saturday Central Christian Church is the home for Love Unlimited, which prepares and serves a hot meal for our neighbors experiencing food insecurity. More than a meal, this ministry is an opportunity to build relationships, offer dignity, and remind every person who walks through the line that they are loved.
Hope Southern Indiana
Not only do we financially support Hope Southern Indiana in our yearly missions, but we have groups that volunteer with them. Hope Southern Indiana partners with local faith based organizations to provide crucial support to the entire community.
Church Garden & Green Team
At Central Christian, we believe we are called to care for God’s creation! One of the ways we do that is through our Church garden. In the garden, we grow vegetables to support our food ministries and neighbors, and we have pollinator plants to support our bees and butterflies.
St. Mark’s Saturday Café
Central Christian Church has a team of volunteers who prepare and serve meals for our vulnerable neighbors at St. Mark’s Saturday Café. Through our partnership with St. Mark’s, we are honored to share God’s love one plate, one conversation, and one act of kindness at a time.
Community Cupboard
In 2017 our church built the cupboard on our lawn as a way to provide food, toiletries, and other essentials to anyone passing by. Though our blessing box is small, we know that even small blessings can make a big difference!
