New & Seasonal Groups
Room to Wonder
Location: Coffee Crossing Coffee Shop, Downtown New Albany (140 E Main Street, New Albany, IN 47150)
Time: 7pm – First Monday of the Month
Dates: September 7; October 5; November 2; December 7
Room to Wonder is a monthly book discussion held at a local coffee shop where we’ll gather for thoughtful, respectful conversation about faith, doubt, spirituality, and what it means to follow Jesus in today’s world. There are no lectures, no pressure to have all the answers, and no expectation that everyone will agree. Instead, we’ll listen well, ask honest questions, and learn from one another’s stories.
Our first book will be The Exvangelicals by Sarah McCammon. Through personal stories and thoughtful reporting, McCammon explores the rise of the evangelical movement in America, why many people have chosen to leave it, and how those experiences continue to shape their understanding of faith, identity, and community. Whether you grew up evangelical, know someone who did, or are simply interested in better understanding this important conversation, the book offers a compassionate starting point.
Lunch & Learns
Our quarterly Lunch & Learns offer a chance to explore a timely topic in greater depth through conversation, learning, and fellowship. Lunch is provided, and everyone is welcome.
